The food in the mess of KIT's Institute of Management Education and Research KIT's IMER is good. There are several messes which cater for vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian diets so that taste and flavors are varied. Hygiene accompanies the preparation, and nutritional value is maintained. Students like the fact that the menu does not remain the same and incorporates dishes of the local cuisine in it. Feedback is always actively sought from residents to improve the quality and variety of food.
