{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}Based on reviews from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:Pros:* Excellent faculty with deep knowledge in their subjects* Good infrastructure, including modern laboratories, libraries, and classrooms* Opportunities for self-study and self-learning* Affiliation with Calcutta University (CU)* Campus life is relatively calm and peaceful* Access to scholarships and financial aid for meritorious studentsCons:* No placements are guaranteed for the B.Sc. honours course* Limited career prospects immediately after graduation* Many students pursue higher studies instead of opting for employment* Infrastructure issues, such as poorly maintained washrooms* Limited opportunities for internships within the college* Faculty members' teaching quality varies, with some being more effective than othersIn conclusion, while Lady Brabourne College has its strengths, particularly in terms of faculty and infrastructure, the lack of placements and limited career prospects immediately after graduation may deter some students. However, those who prioritize higher education over immediate employment may find the college suitable for their needs. Ultimately, whether or not it's "worth" pursuing a B.Sc. at Lady Brabourne College depends on individual priorities and goals.

{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Sc. Courses at Lady Brabourne College* Average performance: The placement cell in the Mathematics department is considered average.* Limited number of students placed: From each batch, only around 4-5 students (out of 12-13 students who sit for placements) get placed.* Role-based hiring: Mostly, companies hire for roles related to graphic design (PT level), requiring specialisation in visual communication and electronic media.* Salary range: The average salary offered is around INR30,000 per month.* No internships: There are no internships available within the college, although students can apply for off-campus internships.* Teaching staff impact: The limited number of students placed is partly attributed to the lack of interest shown by some teaching staff, leading to subpar teaching quality.
