But how the trend takes shape is anybody's guess. It may change or continue in same direction. But i suppose if you have 50 percentile then perhaps your chances will improve in getting branch of your choice.

Dayanand Sagar is definitely better than MVJ in terms of placements and education. The aeronautical department in DSI is well established and has well experienced faculty. The infrastructure and labs are all well-equipped with the latest necessary apparatus. The placements are also really good with people getting placed in top companies like Textron, bell, Mercedes, etc. So Dayanand Sagar must definitely be the better choice.

Since you have not define any particular department it would be difficult to compare with the colleges as both the colleges do differently in terms of the department and have an upper hand over each other depending on the department we take in consideration.
If I had to choose between the two of the colleges I would go for MVJ College of Engineering because of the fact that it supports:
Better infrastructure, with more greenery and Library and hostels enough to accommodate all it students.
The faculty for various departments in MVJ College of Engineering is certainly a lot better than Amrita Institute of Technology Bangalore.
But Amrita Institute of Technology has the strategic advantage of the college being located in Bangalore because of which it is able to attract a number of companies including the IT corporate companies and the core ones, for the placement drive in the college and so it is able to attract more number of core companies and Amrita Institute of technology Bangalore.

Acharya Institute of Technology (AIT) is a better choice than MVJ College of Engineering in case of both educational quality and placements.
But instead of opting for Aeronautical Engineering, I would suggest you go for CSE from AIT Bangalore.
AIT is ranked 63rd in Indian Engineering college Ranking of "Outlook India". On the other hand, MVJCE stands nowhere in top 100.
AIT Bangalore has huge campus of 120 acres whereas MVJCE has a campus of just 15 acres.
AIT maintains a teacher-student ratio of 1:10. The Institute receives a "Modernisation and Removal of Obsolescence" grant from the AICTE for research activities and upgraded state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. It is one of the seven colleges in Karnataka to be funded by the World Bank and receives endowments from the VTU to carry out research in both its undergraduate and postgraduate departments.
Coming on to why to choose CSE over Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation sector is still on a slow growth in India whereas IT sector is on its top gear of growth. There is a huge demand of CSE Engineers than Aero Engineers in India. Moreover Mostly IT companies comes for placements in the college.
Hope this would help you to make a better choice.
