It is possible to secure a seat in the B.E. / B.Tech programs in PET Engineering College without attending the TNEA counselling session but under the management quota. While TNEA is the most recognised channel of admission where one has to pass their 12th-class examination and qualify, the college reserves some seats under management quota where TNEA need not be attended. However, even for the management quota, you may be required to satisfy the requirements of the course on offer (like having completed your 12th standard with qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). Further, some of the institutions may have separate entrance tests or interviews for those who want to avail management quota which is not the case with every institution.
