SDMCET doesn't offers Course in Robotics , however SDMCET offers course of Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering, you can learn robotics by doing some courses side by side while doing BE in ECE. Hope you got your answer.

For admission in Diploma at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara College of Engineering and Technology, Dharwad you have to give the Diploma CET exam organised by Karnataka state government and in this way depending upon your rank you will be directly admitted to SDMET, 2nd year in the branch of your choice. With a rank of 15420, you can easily get Mechanical engineering for sure even if you fall in general category, however if you are from reserved category, in that case you can also get CSE & ISE branch. I hope you have got your answer.

For getting ECE branch in SDMCET, Dharwad, the cut-off will be around 25,000 for first round and for second round the rank cutoff goes upto 30,000-31,000, if you have got better rank than this than you can easily get Ece branch in SDM College, Dharwad.

Placements in academic year 2017-2018 in SDMCET college was good. Approximately, 50-60 companies visited the campus, most of them were IT companies .The highest package was around INR 13 lakhs and the average package is INR 3.75 lakhs package, approximately 70%-75% students got placed through campus placements in this academic year.
