Candidates pursuing MCA course from SIT learn the technical skills and programming languages required to work for the industry. The course provides industrial internship (stipend) for the final-year students to enhance their technical skills. MCA department has signed MoU with different reputed IT companies to facilitate the assured Internship programme. 

The students pursuing a course from the institute are open to scholarships provided by the West Bengal Government. West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation provides Post-Matric Scholarships and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships. Scholarships will be provided to eligible students in order of merit and subject to the budgetary allocation provided by the State Government. For renewal, the applicant will be eligible for the scholarship if he/she has obtained 50% aggregate in his/ her previous examination.
