The Sindhi Institute of Management (SIM) in Bangalore does not provide on-campus hostel facilities for its students. According to student reviews, the college does not offer hostel accommodations, and students typically arrange their own housing in nearby paying guest (PG) accommodations or private hostels. It's noted that PGs in the area can be expensive and may vary in quality, so students are encouraged to research and plan accordingly.

Admission without CAT 2: Admission to the MBA or PGDM at the Sindhi Institute of Management (SIM) can always be without CAT. SIM admits the students based on scores secured in alternative entrance tests such as MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, or Karnataka PGCET for MBA admission.A candidate needs to have a recognised degree with at least 50% score (45% in respect of reserved category) and a valid score in one of these exams, followed by group discussions and personal interviews. For the management quota, direct admission is provided based on academic merit and interview; thus, the candidate need not appear for the entrance exams, though fees are higher.

The faculty of Sindhi Institute of Management (SIM) is an assortment of experienced individuals, each equipped with an MBA or Ph.D. and an ethos in their respective fields of management, finance, or marketing. They have devised a curriculum that is structured for building the practical skills of a student, with help from case studies, group projects, and industry interactions in order to be best prepared for placements into corporate roles. Among the set of methods of teaching utilized here are lectures, workshops, and guest talks, with a variable level of engagement of the students. There is prevalent sense of approachability-both for academic and career guidance-on part of the faculty. Yet, physical availability for senior faculty is marked by encumbrance due to their extraneous obligations.
