Hello Pooja,
SJCE Mysore 1st cut off 2021 was released on December 10. The last date for reporting to the allotted college by selected candidates in Round 1 is December 16.
SJCE Mysore offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to BE programme is based on KCET score, followed by KCET Counselling, which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of KCET 2021 result to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The cutoffs are generally declared in two rounds of KCET Counselling based on closing ranks for each of the BTech specialisations. The cutoffs are released for home state and other state candidates, which are further divided into GM GMK, SCG, STG, etc., categories. Till now, KCET has released Round 1 and Round 2 cutoff for admission to BTech programme. Below given are the consolidated KCET cutoffs for candidates belonging to Hyderabad/ Karnataka and other states:

Talking of Mechanical Engineering:
Thanks to the reservation system, it depends on your caste. If you're from SC/ST, a rank of somewhere around 200 would be enough. If you belong to the OBC categories then a rank of around 100150 would do. Here

If you're from general category, you need to have a rank of around 25! Yes it's 25 only. Speaking of other branches, you can just take twice the ranks I mentioned. Visit for details: http://www.btechadmission.co.in/.
