SJCE Mysore 1st cut off 2021 was released on December 10. The last date for reporting to the allotted college by selected candidates in Round 1 is December 16.
SJCE Mysore offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to BE programme is based on KCET score, followed by KCET Counselling, which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of KCET 2021 result to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The cutoffs are generally declared in two rounds of KCET Counselling based on closing ranks for each of the BTech specialisations. The cutoffs are released for home state and other state candidates, which are further divided into GM GMK, SCG, STG, etc., categories. Till now, KCET has released Round 1 and Round 2 cutoff for admission to BTech programme. It comes under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which is the primary institution of many such institutions. The college was officially inaugurated by the esteemed founder of Manipal Institutes, Dr. T. M.A. Pai, the then chairman of the academy of education, Manipal, Mysore State. NIRF Ranking : 120 (Year 2019)
So keeping the above facts in consideration my choice is my choice if BIT Bangalore and NIE Mysore.

Talking of Mechanical Engineering:
Thanks to the reservation system, it depends on your caste. If you're from SC/ST, a rank of somewhere around 200 would be enough. If you belong to the OBC categories then a rank of around 100150 would do. Here comes the big one!
