But as per fees structure SSN is more affordable than VIT. Hence for more experience and good placement opportunity you should go for VIT.

You can get admission in SSN through management quote which is also purely based on merit. Call letter will be sent to you based on your cut-off after that you need to attend an aptitude test and interview for it.

Both of these are good colleges for doing engineering. Both are competitive with each other and are equal. If you consider education, placements and rankings, both will almost be the same. But SASTRA University has its own syllabus and curriculum as it is a deemed university, therefore, preferring SASTRA over SSN is of high interest. So you can prefer any one of these for engineering. The only thing is that SSN comes under Anna University, so the syllabus will be the same for all the affiliated colleges.
