Both the colleges are good for engineering and they have good reputation too but I would opt for MIT as it has better brand name being a campus of Anna University (University of Departments of Anna University). The placements for CSE are really huge and tech giants like Amazon, visit the campus every year and offer packages more than 20 LPA.
I won't say SSN because it is a self-financing college under Anna University. So it is better to opt for government aided colleges like PSG, Coimbatore Institute of Technology and Thiagrajar, Madurai than SSN.

So, there is no separate preparation for that, you need to answer boldly and whatever you know.

So you can prefer any one of these for engineering. The only thing is that SSN comes under Anna University so the syllabus will be the same for all the affiliated colleges.
But SASTRA University has its own syllabus and curriculum as it is a deemed university.

Hi,
Yes, I think you can get a seat at SSN College of Engineering, Kalavakkam with a cut off of 186 and odd for an SC candidate. You may not get ECE but you can get other courses.
For the previous year's cut off marks you can refer:

If you haven't applied for it then you can go for management quota seats where you need to clear an aptitude entrance test and then get admission.
