The selection process for B.Tech courses varies by college. However, most colleges use the JEE Main score as the primary admission criterion. The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the JEE Main exam twice a year. The exam is divided into two parts: Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech students and Paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Planning students.The minimum JEE Main percentile required for admission to B.Tech courses varies depending on the college and the candidate's category. For general category candidates, for example, some colleges may require a minimum percentile of 75%, while others may require a minimum percentile of 80%. In 2019, the general category NTA JEE Main cut-off mark was 89.7548849 percentile. The cut-off, however, may vary depending on the number of candidates who took the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and other factors.

B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is the best in B.Tech from T.John Institute of Technology. Almost 90% of students got placed from here in different reputed companies such as IBM, Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Many top roles are offered for computer Science engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, civil engineering electronics, and communication engineering college. But Students of B.Tech in CSE got placed in larger number than any other branches here.

Life at T.John Institute of Technology is very deciplined and healthy. Classes are well-maintained and have a very good atmosphere inside the TJIT campus which Students call an assembly. It is a very reputed college in south Bangalore. The college campus is green and very beautiful. The infrastructure is excellent. The college has good classrooms. ICT facility has been provided in all the seminar halls. The library is well furnished with all the required study materials. Professors are very dedicated and committed. In the computer Science course, faculty teachers are friendly. Their teaching techniques are good. All faculty members are helpful. They use power point presentations to teach and to make students understand better. Students can easily clear exams if they go through the previous exam papers of two years and attend the regular classes.

I always have come across students who are confused between these two fields because of the lack of the understanding of the minute differences and similarities between the two engineering streams.
