Due to increase in new airlines in the aviation sector, the aviation industry is expanding hence there are many opportunities after completion of this course. You can join some good airlines and can work as a Cabin Crew Member, you can also consider an office position or work as a base supervisor or programmer / crew administrator.
Salary varies from person to person and it depends on your negotiation skills as well.

After completing your 12th, you will be eligible for doing a diploma course in air hostess training.
After joining, you have to learn the following things under the training academy.
1.First Aid Training,
2.Grooming,
3.Spoken English,
4.Business English,
5.Airport and In-flight Practical Orientation,
6.Practical Training on Fidelio and Galelio,

See height is not only the criteria so at times if one has other things good they might ignore it, but if we talk about height only then yes I must say tough chances but still if you have other things good you certainly having chances.and do try for Airindia they don't bother about height much as compare to others.

Air hostess as a career is highly remunerative and prestigious. Although salaries of an air hostess depend upon the airlines she is employed in, but the starting salary may vary from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month in domestic airlines. An air hostess working with international airlines receives higher salary as compared to the domestic airlines. The salary of a senior air hostess is about Rs. 60,000-80,000 per month in public sector airlines and Rs. 2-3 lakhs in private international airlines.

Yes, you can pursue aviation course also. You have to pursue a basic course from Frankfinn or other aviation institute then you can go for this course. But, as you have done Diploma in civil best option would be to go for B.Tech in civil.

To join a cabin crew course, you can download the admission form of the institute, where you want to take admission. You must choose any institute by their feedback and not by the name. I would suggest you some names, which are providing quality training with job placement like IGIA, AHA and IAM.
