To become a doctor, you must follow primarily an education that begins with completing a Bachelor's degree generally in a science-related field such as biology or chemistry. The most common route is to pursue a bachelor's degree in medicine and a bachelor's degree in surgery (MBBS), which is 5.5 years of training that includes both theoretical and practical training culminating in mandatory internship. After obtaining an MBBS degree you can further specialize by pursuing postgraduate degrees like a MD or MS in Medicine which usually take another three years to complete.

Hi Harshit,
The question is very ambiguous. You have not provided any information based on which I can guide you like your career plans, kind of job you want to do, education background, country preference, etc. If you are not aware of these things by yourself then first you should figure out your likes and dislikes and then look for further guidance.

Education and career counsellor,

Hi Sandeep, there is no specific answer to your question, it will depend on how you define the term bright future. You have to figure out what you want, your likes and dislikes, your goals and plan a career path. You may take a psychometric test to identify your aptitude. Since you did not mention your stream of study as well as your interest it will not be possible to suggest you any course.

Hi Latika, computer science in class 11th and class 12th includes theoretical as well as practical aspects of computer science, such as fundamentals of computers, programming methodology, programming through either C+ or Python, database management etc. While in Information Practice, you will learn about software development. Opting for Computer Science for many is a better options, since it will open doors to wider options and you will have more scope to explore and also for higher studies.

I think you should have to go for B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering only. India is going to be a manufacturing hub in coming future. So, the demand in these areas will become high, so think about the same.
Good Luck.

A bright future takes hard work and a lot of research. In fact, there are 3 broad categories which include science, commerce and arts. Science streams will lead into medicine and engineering. Engineering has host of career prospects and job opportunities. It has subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics which are the core part. Arts has gates opened to literature, journalism, psychology, languages, teaching, etc. Commerce leads you to investment banking, accounting, financial advisory, income tax etc. Check your real interest in long term, talk to people in all 3 streams and get a first-hand idea what the field is all about. I would suggest you research and interact a lot with experienced people to see which among arts, science, these suits your interests and skill sets. Do your pre-university from the chosen stream. Thereafter, take up graduation either in engineering/medicine/basic sciences/computers or accounting and taxes, or literature/journalism/languages. This depends on what stream you choose in pre-university.

If you have managed to take up the entrance exam already for engineering or medical then the path further is clear. If not, you could consider B.Sc or BA and B.Sc in various streams. For example, IT, PCM, computer science, nursing, physiotherapy, food technology and nutrition, etc. If you are from arts background then you could take up BA in journalism or languages, economics, political science, history, etc. If you are from the commerce area, then B.Com is a good start. You may want to consider qualifications like ICWA and CA too for a better hold.

Hi,I recommend you to take up an internship say as a stock sub broker. For this class 12th is enough, otherwise, based on the Bachelors you have done, pursue now an internship or a job as sub broker with a good firm. Hands on experience always makes a difference. Alongside, you can do certificate courses in financial markets and capital market development or a Masters at a later stage, in finance or Masters of commerce. You have very many fields of work such as, advisers, independent consultants, accountants, traders and brokers.

Yes, indeed you should take up courses that you are really interested in. What I would recommend is, talk to both, people and yourself and do a lot of online research about IPS and B.Tech Computer Science. You will get a reality check of what lies inside of both. Accordingly, with both long-term and short-term goals, see how you want to pursue the next step of career.
