What do you mean by future degree here, please? If you specify, we could help you better. However, whether you should do B.Tech, depends on your field of interest. Not everyone wants to pursue engineering, so there's no point of doing it unwillingly or dropping out a year later or so. Find out which courses are of your interest, and go for higher studies in that field itself. All the best.

Hi,
You have to pursue B.Sc. physics or courses with physics as major subject for the same. Select electives and specialisation related to astronomy/astrophysics/cosmology and then you can do M.Sc. and PhD or integrated M.Sc. + PhD.
You can do B.Sc. from anywhere but for M.Sc. and PhD you need to join core planetary field related institutes like PRL, RRI, IISST or IUCAA.

Dear Bhavesh, one of the most common questions. The answer lies on your own interests, ambition, career plans etc. What you want to study, which field you are interested to work in will be some of the deciding factors. Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada are some favorable countries for international students however.
