Admission to IIMs is via a common entrance examination called CAT. After clearing the entrance examination, based on your score, past academics and relevant work experience IIMs shortlist students for written ability test & PI where they will gauge your interest for pursuing MBA. After clearing the same, one gets admission to any of the IIMs.
Good luck!

EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT,

The opportunities for MBA students are very vast. B.Com with a computer application is a very good course. After completion of this course, you can choose MBA in IT systems or MBA in finance/marketing/Hr. Also, some colleges offer dual specialisation. Then the best combination is IT and marketing. The salary package for an MBA student who has good computer or digital knowledge is always on a high note. I would suggest you to take IT+ Marketing.

For chemistry, NCERT is the best for IIT JEE but for maths and physics NCERT is not sufficient. I will suggest the Cengage book because it contains nearly 300 questions of every chapters and practice better.

Hi, BITSAT is totally basics. You have to be completely sure about what and why you are doing regardless of where you're doing. So firstly you should be thorough with your NCERT syllabus (All chapters including EMW, Semi Conductors, and all other minor chapters). FIITJEE package is totally needless. I would prefer resonance package if you have. For physics, HCV is mandatory (all questions). Maths is completely basic in BITSAT and only NCERT Exemplar questions are sufficient. For Chemistry NCERT is more than enough. Best wishes.

You can also check the various posts available and specific criteria and choose the stream accordingly. For example if you want to become a Assistant Audit Officer then B.Com and MBA is recommended.

Hi Brij,
MBBS in India with 320 in NEET at government universities is next to impossible considering the previous year statistics. Even private or deemed colleges are difficult but if the high fees is affordable, you may try once the results are out. Before you completely switch your field to B.Sc, you can explore medical studies abroad at a good government university. Select a university listed with MCI. Check what experience they have in teaching foreign students.
Some of the universities are excellent, in fact comparable to good colleges in India. In fact now government is planning to have a common exam for all doctors before ... View more

To prepare for CMAT exam you need to do two things. Cover the exam syllabus and practice mock tests. After you decide to appear for CMAT the first thing you should do is check the CMAT syllabus. Make a list of topics that you are familiar with and topics that you have never studied before. Start with topics that you are unfamiliar with as those topics will take time. Move to easier topics after that. Do practice sample questions after completing each topic to know how to apply concepts to a problem. Once you have completed the CMAT syllabus, move to the next phase of preparation, I. e. practicing mock tests and sample questions. Dedicate a... View more
