In IIT/NIT/CFTI,you can't get admission as you will require 65 percentage marks in CBSE for it, but if you get a good rank in JEE main, you can try in DTU/NSIT(JAC Delhi counselling), in state aided engineering colleges (which accepts JEE MAIN score), give engineering entrance exam of your state and get a decent rank and get admission in your state aided colleges, give VITEE, BITSAT, KIITEE, SRMJEE and if you get a decent rank you can get admission in these colleges also. Last but not the least, COMEDK colleges, Manipal University, Mangalore or Sikkim Manipal University which accepts JEE Main score also along with their engineering entranc... View more
GLA University is the best to do B.Tech in Computer Science (CS). It provides 100% placements to B.Tech students. The campus and faculty of this university are simply world-class. Best of luck for your future and if there's any query, feel free to ask.
B.Tech in CS in not available from distance education in this university. My opinion on that is also that distance education is not beneficial for B.Tech courses.

Hello,
Yes, you can apply for an admission in Diploma in computer Science Engineering.
Hello Koustubh,
Admissions to polytechnics in Maharashtra are based on the marks obtained in 10th examination. There is no separate entrance test for admission to different branches of Diploma. The prospective candidates have to register online for entering into admission process. It is expected that this is likely to begin in Maharashtra in the month of June. Many states in India also follow this practice. I am attaching the link that give you all the required information:

Hello Dhanushree, from this year onwards NTA will be declaring results based on percentile and 'best of the two' case. I am attaching a link that will predict college for you based on the percentile of your daughter. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
Best wishes to you and your daughter.
It is difficult to tell about marks, because marks varies every year, depending on the difficulty level of the paper. Note:. First of all, it depends whether you are from other state or a resident of West Bengal. Because, if you are an outsider, you will be treated as general candidate in WBJEE. There is no reservation for outsiders. Then, marks would be as high as 150 or more (for safer side). It may be less than 150 depending upon the difficulty level of paper. But, if you are from West Bengal and Science candidate, then you can get CSE with a rank of 800 something. So, work hard, CSE is one of the best department in Jadavpur University.... View more

Hi Aditya,
As per your score in JEE Mains, you should go for private colleges like Amity University, Shardha University, Lovely Professional University, Galgotia University, LNCT Bhopal, Techno India Kolkata, Haldia, Heritage etc. For computer Science engineering. You can also predict other possible colleges here:
https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
Best of luck.
Do not worry. I can understand your concern and angst. Most optimum is getting admission in a government college. Fees are reasonable and faculty is also good. But you will have to study hard to get a better rank in UPSEE. These days direct entry is only in Tamil Nadu and with some deemed to be universities or management quota seats. Best wishes to you.
After completing B.Tech in CS you can apply in companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc. You can also appear for IES (Indian Engineering Services) exam conducted by UPSC. You can appear for GATE exam for ME from different IITs.

Hi,
Computer Science deals with the Science of Computers. Science is a vast term but almost every ones knows what we might study in CS. So Coming to the unknown CSSE. It adds Computer Systems engineering to the original Computer Science engineering. You might know what is a DC in a System. The systems that are used their needs engineers to maintain itself. The circuits, design of integrated hardware and software solutions are involved in many aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers, and supercomputers, to circuit design. One who studies CS won't be able to do these things without knowing ... View more
Hi,
There are 31 NITs in our country and each one is unique and different in its own way. They vary in their infrastructure, campus life, academics, courses and many other parameters. You need to know about all these parameters in the top NITs so that you can make an informed choice. MHRD approved NIRF rankings also give a slight idea of the relative positions of the various NITs. Here is the top three ranked NITs:
I. National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli: This is so far the best NIT and provides a really good exposure to its students. The cut-off ranks for admission to NIT Tiruchirappalli are really low and you need to... View more

Well there are computer Science courses with Maths include like PMC Physics electronics, computer)and MEC Maths Electronics, computers) so if you are looking out for a course without Maths you could probably choose BCA (Bachelor's of computer application) which has the least amount of Maths like you would have it in a sem or 2.
Clarify your question by writing the full form of the DCE course you want to pursue and Shiksha representatives will reach out. As you've written DCE it also means Delhi College of Engineering so that's why it's assigned to me. Hope it'll help.
B.Tech CSE is offered by Central University of Haryana (CUHAR) only.
