It is advisible to pursue a course in acting after class 12th only. You may go for a Diploma in acting after class 10th but Acting is a risky industry. You can try your luck very hard to get into it but your education must be rest assured. I'd advice you to go for a Bachelors in mass communication or Bachelors in acting after 12th to get into it.

Usually, every acting school has at least some kind of entrance test in terms of interview or audition. It's also applicable for this institution too.

NSD ( national school of drama) New Delhi, FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) Pune and SRFTI ( Satyajeet ray film and Television Institute ) Kolkata. These institutes are governed by the Government of India so these institutes also provide scholarship and styee fund.
