In my opinion, you should go for a course in BJMC (Bachelors in journalism and mass communication) as you learn wide variety of subjects in this course. You learn a bit about image and video making, editing as well from which you can begin to brush up your skills of getting better at animation as well. With a degree in BJMC, you will have job opportunities open in lot many fields. Hence, I'd suggest you to go for cinema industry than VFX.
All the best.

Although you can, but it is advisable for you complete your class 12th in any of the streams (mainly arts and humanities) to pursue a course in acting. You can in fact pursue your graduation in acting or BJMC which will make you an actor and a graduate at the same time. Completing class 12th will also make your career more secure than other Diploma courses.
All the best.
