The B.Sc. (Hons) agriculture programme of LPU offers excellent placements with the top package of 2025 being ₹19.25 LPA and the aver-age package for students in the top 10% being ₹8.27 LPA from 150+ recruiters, including Syngenta, ITC, Godrej Agrovet, UPL, Mahindra Agribusiness, Adani Wilmar, etc. More than 550 dream offers were made in agribusiness, research, farm management, and rural development roles with dedicated training in interview skills. Placement rate is generally around 35-87%, 70% of internships convert to job offers.

Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. Eligibility for B.Sc. In Agriculture is to get Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any.

My cousin brother is pursuing B.Sc. (Hons)Agriculture from LPU itself. He told Lovely Professional University has become India's first private university to get ICAR accreditation due to getting one of the highest Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Rating of 3.42/4, among all Universities. Everyone recommended me this college, and said this university focus on overall development and personality. Dehradun has excellent weather and an awesome city to be explored along with nearby hill beauty. It is economic to study here including food and lodging. Fee Structure and Facilities:
