AIIMS Bhubaneswar is a public/government university which was established in 2012. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar was established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. AIIMS Bhubaneswar was established as an autonomous institution and is known as an Institute of National Importance and is approved by MCI (Medical Council of India). Being a government university, the fee for various programmes is not high.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar is one of the topmost medical universities present in India. AIIMS Bhubaneswar is ranked 17 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2023 for Medical and 26 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2022 for Medical. Being a public/government university, the fee for various courses is not very high. Hence, it is a good university which offers various programmes to students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently, admissions are open. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The NEET score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course

AIIMS Bhubaneswar MBBS cutoff 2023 for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 6720 for SC category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET UG, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET UG Round 3 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 603 and closing rank was 603 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in AIIMS Bhubaneswar is based on the scores obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

As per AIIMS Bhubaneswar NEET UG cutoff 2023, the Round 3 closing rank was 603 for General category candidates in All India quota for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
