The following specialisations are offered in the M.Tech course at Akshaya Institute of Technology:

  • MTech in Machine Design 

Candidates must follow the admission process that is set by the institue to secure  a seat in the course. M.Tech is a two year PG programme for Engineering candidates. Candidates are required to appear for GATE to participate in the admission process of AIT.

The fee for  BTech in AIT Tumkur varies with different specialisations. The fee range across specialisations is INR 3.9 Lacs to INR 7.4 lakh. Candidates are required to pay the course fee once they have been shortlisted through the admisison process. Candidates are required to appear for KCET or COMEDK to participate in the admission process of BTech at AIT Tumkur.

Akshaya Institute of Technology offers a four-year BTech course for interested candidates. The admission process for the course is entrance based. AIT Tumkur does not accept JEE scores for admission to any of the courses. Candidates are required to appear for COMEDK or KCET to participate in the admission process for BTech at AIT.

Akshaya Institute of Technology has around 75% placement rate and more than 40 companies visit there annually. Starting from  INR7.3 LPA as the top package and INR 3 – 4 LPA as average package. The top recruiters are Oracle, Capgemini, Ashok Leyland etc. There are also separate boys and girls hostels in the institution with internet and dining facility that give students an excellent environment to live.

Akshaya Institute of Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.E. / B.TechCandidates passed Diploma are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.
M.E./M.TechCandidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/ semesters of the Degree Examination from any recognised institute/university.
Final year students can also apply on provisional basis.
Candidates must have valid GATE score.
After 10th DiplomaCandidate must have passed Grade 10, SSLC or its equivalent with a minimum of 35% marks from a recognised board/institute.
