Yes, candidates who meet the eligibility requirements are free to seek to study Naturopathy at both private and governmental schools. 
While private institutions usually provide flexible admission policies and extra amenities, government universities could have lower tuition and reservation restrictions. Admission criteria to Naturopathy programs are different from one college to another. Some colleges offer admission based on merit with 10+2 Science marks or other student transcripts, while other colleges use merit admission that requires a score from an entrance test provided by a university or state.

Practicum provides a space for students to apply their therapies such as hydrotherapy, massage and dietary advice, in a supportive environment with practical exposure prior to practicing independently. Practicum training also assists future practitioners to gain patient interaction and clinical judgement.

Most of the colleges state, that the minimum born age entry of applicants is at age 17 years at the time of application to the Naturopathy statutory dimension. In some cases the maximum day of birth age would vary considerably, often ranging from age 25-30 or so depending on the college statutory rules; 

The applicants should check the individual college rules of admission for each college, as some university colleges, will have allowances for relaxations for reserved categories or certain quotas. The correct legal compliance of the applicant age is paramount in the case of eligibility and administration of their admission.

Courses usually offered as Naturopathy (BNYS) will not accept an eligibility of 10+2 completion with a Science background (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). 

Commerce or Arts students will usually not have met the minimum eligibility qualification. Students may pursue bridge courses in science that would allow students to meet minimum eligibility standards. Such variance should ensure students have some foundation of knowledge in the basic Science areas required to study medicine or health in Naturopathy.

Panjab University offers BHMS seats through PU-CET (BHMS), a separate entrance exam. However, NEET is compulsory nationwide for BHMS admission, per regulatory bodies and court rulings. Even if PU-CET is conducted, you must qualify NEET to be eligible under current norms.
