An Anchor is a person who presents a news or delivers a program on TV, Radio or the Internet. You can either become a Broadcast Anchor or an Event Anchor. A few qualities that are required to be an Anchor are:

Apart from these, there are other qualities that you learn from your experiences. Now talking about anchoring, if you want to be an Event Anchor you need to possess the quality of attracting the audience mind and keeping them involved in the program, on the other hand a Broadcast Anchor is one who delivers message through a broadcast channel i.e., Radio, TV or the Internet. Although you need good communication skills and confidence to be an anchor, but nonetheless you also require a degree of Journalism and Mass Communication to work in the field, this is because when you apply for a job of a news reader or an anchor for a program\event the person holding a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication is preferred for the job as he\she may have the basic knowledge and of the concerned field. Surely, you can be an anchor too but I would advise that you should gain a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication so that it will provide you the base for becoming an Anchor. No, you don't need to qualify all the exams to get an admission in Amity University, Raipur. The eligibility criteria for taking an admission in MBA is Graduation with MAT/CAT/GMAT valid score. If you haven't appeared for any of the above management entrance tests, then another option for you is to appear for the entrance test conducted by Amity University itself i.e., Amity Common Admission Test (AMCAT). AMCAT consists of an Aptitude test and a personal interview. To get an admission in Amity University, first you have to fill in a form and register yourself for AMCAT. Yes, you can apply for B.Arch in Amity University Raipur. Eligibility criteria for taking an admission in B.Arch is 10+2 (min.50% with Maths) Plus valid NATA 2018/2017 score or JEE Mains Paper II/2018 score. A NATA score would be preferable but JEE Mains paper 2 score will also do the needful. Now what you need to do is fill in a form and register yourself for the AMCAT I. e. , Amity Common Admission Test which is an entrance test to get an admission in Amity University. As you are applying for B.Arch. You will have to take an Aptitude test and an Interview, as steps of AMCAT. If you qualify in AMCAT you will get a confirmation from Amity itself, after which you can enrol yourself in the concerned programme by completing other formalities and documentation. As you are now a graduate you can apply for the postgraduate programme offered by Amity University Raipur i.e., Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (MA J&MC) a 2-year programme consisting of 4 semesters.
To get an admission in MA J&MC the first thing you have to do is to fill the registration form. You can fill the registration either online or visit a nearest Amity University Information Centre. After you have done the registration, you have to appear for the AMCAT and Interview which will be held at the campus itself. Once you have qualified the AMCAT and Interview, you will be eligible for the admission.
