Kalinga University offers various UG, PG, Diploma, and Integrated courses through its 14 departments.

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserve category) from a recognised Board are considered eligible for admission to the UG course.
2. Applicants with graduation degree of minimum three years with at least 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) from a recognised university are considered eligible to get admission in any PG course.
3. Candidates are selected on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination (for UG course) or in the Graduation Degree (for PG course) as per the guidelines of the university.
4. The application form is the same for every course (UG/ PG) and is available online and offline. Candidates shall submit the application fee of INR 1200 either through net banking/ credit/ debit card in online mode or through demand draft/ cash in offline mode.

Kalinga University has a good record of placements. During the 2021 placements, 809 students were placed in reputed companies. Out of the total students placed, 405 students were from the UG programmes and 404 were from the PG programmes. Kalinga University placement report 2023 is yet to be published on the official website. However, the NIRF report 2023 is released. To get admission to Kalinga University's BPharma programme candidates must appear for the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). KALSEE is an entrance exam conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Kalinga University to offer admission to various Kalinga University courses. Candidates are required to fill out the online KALSEE application form with all the required details. While submitting the form, candidates must pay the application fee of INR 1,200. Candidates must appear for the KALSEE exam and score a minimum of 50%. After the exam, the University releases lists with names of candidates who have passed the KALSEE exam. Now passed candidates must make course registration on the official website of the University. After registration, candidates must pay the Kalinga University BPharma course fees thereby concluding the admission process.

Kalinga University for BBA admission 2025 is open now. For BBA admission, candidates must have completed twelve years of school education first. Eligible candidates are then to apply for the in-house entrance exam. Applicants must appear for the exam and secure at least 50% in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). After the exam, shortlisted candidates are qualified for the final round. Selected candidates will have to deposit the fee within ten working days after the declaration of the Successful candidate’s list. In case the fee is not deposited in the stipulated time, the student's claim to the admission expires & the same will be passed on to the first waiting list candidates. 

The admission process in the Kalinga University is on the basis of the merit list of the students it's not too hard to get admission in Kalinga University but it's not too easy to get in also. University also takes its entrance exam names KALSEE (Kalinga Scholastic entrance exam), it is a computer based test which is conducted in various cities of India and other countries .
