Anaesthesia Technology

The Operation Theater and Anesthesia Technologist is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, equipment set up, Pre, Intra & Post operative procedures. The eligibility criteria and other related details of M.Sc. in Medical Technology (O.T. and Anesthesia Technology) of SIHS Pune are given below.
(A) Eligibility criteria : M.Sc. Medical Technology (OT & Anesthesia Technology)
1. Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory university with B.Sc. degree in Medical Technology with OT & / Anesthesia as specialization or equivalent from a recognized university.
OR
2. Bachelors in Life Sciences or equivalent from recognized university with diploma/ certificate program in OT/ Anesthesia Technology / minimum one year of work experience in the department of OT/Anesthesia Technology from a reputed institute / related field.
OR
3. Bachelors in Medicine / Ayurveda / Homeopathy / Unani / Physiotherapy / Nursing from a recognized University or equivalent.
(B) Intake : 30 Seats
(C) First year course fee : Rs 220000
(D) Selection process : Entrance Exam & PI-WAT ( personal interview and written ability test)
So from above there is no needs of experience and you can join this course. However you have to clear the selection process as described above.
