The MIT school of fine arts and Applied Arts in Pune offers BFA courses at the undergraduate level with intake of 30 and 90 students for the courses in painting.

Duration of this course is four year. The selection criteria for the BFA courses include an entrance exam and personal interview.

The MIT Pune offers a merit scholarship that waives 50% of fees for 10% of students for the entire duration of the programme. Scholarship are awarded on first come, first served basis and are adjusted as fee adjustments.  Student must maintain a minimum academic score of 8 CGPA across all semesters, attendance of atleast 80% and a clean disciplinary record.

MIT School of Fine Art & Applied Art is not under the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). CUET is an entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various central universities in India. MIT School of Fine Art & Applied Art is affiliated with MIT Art, Design, and Technology University, which conducts its own entrance exams and admission processes for its programs.

There is no such provision for direct admission to any of the courses offered at MIT School of Fine Art & Applied Art, MIT-ADT University for MFA. Candidates interested in taking admission for MFA must take the institute's entrance exam, i.e. Entrance Exam Mark + Interview Mark + Portfolio Mark
