You know that Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is three year license programme and it is regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), government of India. Firstly, you want to register on AME CET 2018. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET 2018) is a national level common entrance test to get admission in AME institute. If you qualify this test then you are eligible to join AME institute through counseling. After that you join AME institute and the fee of these institutes are depend on locality, facility etc. Average fee is approximately. 40k to 80 k per semester and there is six semester in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). After complete this three year course one year training is held on any airlines in India. But during training there is a stipend of INR. 10k to INR.20k per month.

1. You need to first possess a student pilot license. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in science (Physics and mathematics) with 50%.
2. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
3. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
4. You need to register at a flying club which is recognised by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.
5. Next is private pilot license which includes sixty hours of flying. A commercial pilot license may be obtained only after a PPL and 250 hours of flying.

There's no doubt that CPL is an expensive affair. You will have to pay for all the flying that you do as a trainee and also for the ground classes that are given to you by school. Not only this but DGCA exams + License issue fee + medicals, the overall expense goes to INR 28-30 Lacs. Now that you have enquired about scholarships for girls. So let me tell you that there is no such programme to offer scholarships to anyone for that matter. But there's a way out by which you may plan to fund your training. If you belong to reserved category than you may get a freeship from the OBC/SC/ST Commission after proper approval from the government authorities. Such freeships are offered for reserved category candidates and the funds granted by such programme are not to be returned. In case you do not come from the above category and belong to general category it may be difficult to fund the training except for bank loans. NCC 'C' Certificate in Air Wing with 'A' Grade also allows the candidate to get 50hours of free flying from any government flying school across India. But the training requirements are for 200 hours.
