Yes, flying schools require you to complete your class 11th and 12th too. You need to choose at least physics and maths and have a strong grasp over english. You will have to pass with maths and physics with at least 55% to join a flying school but this percentage varies.

Nims University conducts NIMSEE (Nims Entrance Exam) for admission to various courses like Science, Nursing, Business & Management Studies, Engineering, IT & Software, Teaching & Education, Arts (Fine/ Visual/Performing), Law, Accounting & Commerce, Medicine & Health Sciences, and Design. First you need to select the course you want to pursue and then you can appear for the exam. You can get all the delatied information on the college website.

Hello Adarsh, In a way both are in the field of aeronautics. I will try to answer in a different manner. Engineering courses leading to graduation can be started only after approval by AICTE. On the other hand Aircraft Maintenance Engineering though called engineering actually is not engineering. These courses of three years duration are approved by DGCA. From opportunities for job, AME is much better presently in India since civilian flying is booming in India needing more planes & in turn more AME's!

Hi, Candidates need to appear for Sha-Shib Scholarship and Aptitude Test to get admission in Academy of Aviation and Engineering and admission is based on the marks obtained in SSAT entrance test. Regards.

Hi, The minimum eligibility for aviation course is completion of 10+2 exam with physic, chemistry and math. But you can purse certification course in aviation stream after 10th, the duration would be of 2 months. But it is advisable to complete your 12th and then opt for graduation with Travel and Tourism course. Regards.
