Diploma after completing class 10th from a recognised board with a minimum of 40% marks.
Bachelor's Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
Post-graduation degree: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 45% marks.
Graduate and PG programs may also require you to appear for entrance exams such as NCHMCT, AIMA UGAT, and E-Chat.

The CPL training with only Single engine training is available for around Rs.23 lac. If you opt for the multi engine training (that you should opt for a career with airlines) the fee is around Rs. 28 lac.

Bombay Flying Club, Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology and Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics and Government Aviation Training Institute (GATI) are some of the prestigious institutes in India. In case you are able to go for a degree that would always be a better choice. The diploma will give you fundamentals and degree will give in depth knowledge.
