If you want to become an air hostess, you don't really need a specific subject in school, but some subjects can help you a lot. After 12th, you can be from any stream - Science, Commerce, or Arts. Still, knowing English, communication skills, hospitality, travel & tourism, or even psychology is super useful. Learning a foreign language like French, German, or Spanish is a bonus. Good English is a must, and doing a diploma or degree in aviation, hospitality, or travel management after 12th makes your chances even better.

It is important for you to note that there is no national level entrance exam for Air Hostess course admission. But you will find some institutes and airlines that conduct their selection process which may include written tests, GD or PI before admission or hiring.
- Mostly you will get admission on the basis of your Class 12 board exam marks and a personal interview round.
- Some private institutes may take aptitude or English proficiency tests to test your abilities.
- Selection process is a mix of written tests, group discussion, interview rounds and other fitness exams.
So basically there is no mandatory Air Hostess exam for course admission
