Both subjects are good every subject has its advantage if you pursuing English Hons it helps you in English optional and essay part and if you pursuing history Hons it's overlap with gs part and history optional so it's depends on your interest and how you study your subjects smartly with covering your both syllabus of UPSC and graduation.
