The minimum requirement for the general category is a grade of "C" or better on the last four exams, including 85% in English . A general candidate should have at least 60% in four courses, including mathematics; for OBC, this number is 54%, and for SC/ST, passing marks are needed.

At Fergusson College, the cut-offs are usually 85% and above. The cut-offs are more than 90%, if you're from ISCE, CBSE and any other non-state board institute (This does not apply to in-house students). .
