Hello,

You haven't specified the place where this college is located.

But if you are asking about the maharani college of Rajasthan which is a girls' college.

It has an experienced faculty for all the subjects and it is a semi-government college.

It offers course like BSC, Bcom and BA.

With the mentioned score you can get admission till second merit list.

Don't lose hope try for other colleges as well.

The following table mentions a comparison between both these top colleges of DU for their undergraduate courses in the field of Arts and Humanities:

College Name

BA Fee Range

Median Salary (UG 3-year)

Hindu College

INR 52,680 - INR 52,770

INR 6.4 LPA

Miranda House

INR 42,480 - INR 51,240

INR 6 LPA

Based on the details mentioned in the above table, it can be concluded that both these colleges are equally good and candidates can go for any of the two options where they qualify for admission. However, there is a minute difference in between the course fee and salary that the BA/ BA (Hons) passouts get after completing this course. But the gap is too small to be considered in rating a college better than the other. Miranda7 Hindu College with other colleges here

Yes, it is necessary that the candidates seeking admission to BA Hons in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics studied Maths in the qualifying examination. For other specialisations, candidates without maths in Class 12 shall also be eligible to apply. For verification purposes. Candidates also have to provide the academic certificates during form filling and admission confirmation or counselling.
