SK Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science & Commerce admission is divided in two phases:

1. Interim Admission (phase 1) - Interim Admission i.e. Phase 1 of the admission process, is the phase before the declaration of 12th or equivalent exam result. Interim Admission means a provision to secure the seat on the basis of 10th and 11th class final examination results, if the applicant is selected as per the admission merit process and completes the required payment of fees.

BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice Curriculum at JGLS consists of compulsory and elective courses. The first-year is worth 54 credits, second year 56, and the third year is a total of 48 credits. These credits include the two credits per semester (excluding last semester) of the mandatory internships which will be of a period of not less than 20 weeks. In order to be awarded a BA  in Criminology and Criminal Justice degree, students must be awarded no less than 158 credits in total. Courses are classified into the following categories:
