Eligibility:
A student may be admitted to the course of the degree of Bachelor of Arts (General / Honours) if he/she has passed the intermediate or equivalent examination of a recognized Board / University.
2. For admission to Honours course in any subjects it shall be necessary for a students to have obtained not less than 45% marks at the intermediate examination I the subjects concerned. A students passing intermediate examination of Science and Commerce is eligible for admission to Honours course in any subjects he/she has passed I.Sc., I.Com examination securing not less than 45% marks in the aggregate (Except practical subject).

The admission process of graduation provided by Calicut University is based on the mark of higher secondary education. Also, the minimum age for enrolling in graduation is 18 years old. Moreover, Mark weightage will be based on the competition level of candidates.
The Bachelor class contains a maximum of 40 students. Also, there are a large number of teachers available for all subjects. All classes are taken in English and their native language. JMI offers BA, B.Sc, BBA, B.Com, BTTM, BFA, BA-LL.B, B.Ed and B.Li.I.Sc courses in various specializations. The minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2 from a recognized board. Admission to some of the UG courses will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) while admission to the remaining courses will be done through JMI entrance Test.
Selection for the BA (Hons) Hindi, BA (Hons) Sanskrit, BA (Hons) French and Francophone Studies, BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies, BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) History, BSc in Biotechnology, BVoc (Solar Energy), BSc (Hons) Physics and BA (Hons) Turkish Language & Literature courses will be done on the basis of scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Candidates must choose the subjects mentioned in the eligibility criteria while appearing for the CUET.
Selection for the remaining courses will be based on the JMI entrance test.
