From my experience, Galgotias University is one of the better private universities in Greater Noida for advanced CSE branches like AI/ML, Data Science, and Cyber Security. It has modern labs, Centers of Excellence, technical clubs, and industry collaborations. However, whichever university you choose, your skills, projects, internships, and self-learning will matter far more than the branch name alone.

Core B.Tech CSE is usually the best choice for most students as it provides strong fundamentals and greater career flexibility. Specializations like AI/ML and Data Science are excellent for students with a clear interest in those fields. Universities like Galgotias University offer both options with industry-focused learning, allowing students to build core technical skills while exploring emerging technologies.

If you are selected you'll receive an admission offer. You can then confirm your seat by completing the fee payment.
If you are also looking at private universities, LPU is a good choice. You can apply through LPUNEST, the entrance exam o

Based on recent admission trends the merit cutoff for the general category generally falls in the range of around 55 percent to 70 percent marks in Class 12, while reserved categories like SC/ST may get admission at slightly lower percentages often around 45 percent to 60 percent depending on seat availability and merit list rounds. However the exact cutoff changes every year so it is best to check the official CCSU merit lists for the current admission cycle.
