Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), has 49 affiliated colleges and 785 institutes under its umbrella. These institutions offer more than 50 courses across UG, PG, and PhD programs in numerous specializations and streams. Some of the most popular streams include Engineering, Business & Management Studies, IT & Software, Medicine & Health Sciences, Design, and Science. The 5-year curriculum has been divided into 10 semesters and shall include lectures,
tutorials, practicals, seminars, laboratory, field surveys, studio classes, educational
tours and thesis etc. as detailed in the 'Scheme of Teaching and Examinations'. In
addition, seventh semester of B.Arch. programme shall be devoted to Practical
Training as per guidelines laid down in detailed syllabus and executive instructions
issued by the University from time to time.
The curriculum will also include such other curricular, co-curricular and
extracurricular activities as may be prescribed by the University from time to time.

Nirma University 2024 Cutoff has been released on the basis of JEE Main exam scores. For the General All India category candidates, the cutoff rank for BArch was 12057 for the General Home State category candidates. For the General All India category, the cutoff rank for BArch was closed at 22002. Therefore, it is very easy to get admission to the college at 10000 rank.

Admission process: AKTU's admission process for the Faculty of Architecture is both entrance and merit-based.
