It is worth to say that SVKM's Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic situated in Mumbai is not providing B.E./B.Tech programs at all, they are providing only Diploma in engineering and technology. For Diploma admissions, there is criterion fixing for 35% of marks in 10th standard with passing in Mathematics, Science & English subjects. The admission process depends on the CAP which is conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Form, Documents/ Certificates, Counseling, and Allotment of the seat. During the Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering B.E. / B.Tech application process, documents that are mandatory are as follows:
10th Standard Marks Card:- Certificate to verify completion of secondary school.
12th Standard Marks Card:- Certificate to confirm an end or passing of higher secondary school course with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
Transfer Certificate:- Issued by the last institution attended.
Migration Certificate:- Actually Required if coming from outside Gujarat.
Entrance Exam Score card:- JEE Main or GUJCET Scorecard, whichever is applicable for admission.
Caste Certificate: In case one has to claim any reservation
