If you're a Diploma student from outside Karnataka applying for lateral entry into B.E./B.Tech in Bangalore, the following colleges could be considered:
1. R. V College of Engineering – Offers good placements; however, limited and tough lateral entry admissions.
2. BMS College of Engineering – Academic standards are high with decent placements too.
3. M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology – Renowned for its Computer Science and Information Technology streams.
4. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering – Has good infrastructure with opportunities for placements.
5. RNS Institute of Technology – Value for money.

Yes, candidates can apply for BE admissions at MSU Baroda before Class 12 board exam results have been announced. Candidates will be given a deadline within which, they are expected to submit their Class 12 board exam results.

No, ACPC counselling for BE admission in MSU Baroda is has not begun for academic year 2026. ACPC counselling has been scheduled for June 12th, 2026 where candidates can lock their choice of BE course and institute. Thus, candidates interested in MSU Baroda BE courses must lock it as their preference during that time.

No, candidates cannot be admitted directly in BE courses at MSU Baroda after clearing Class 12 board exams. For qualification of BE admission, candidates must appear in JEE Main or GUJCET. Selection will be based on scores obtained in any one of these exams.

While filling out the application form for the DYPIEMR Akurdi BE course, students are required to keep some documents ready to upload. The form is completed after the submission of the documents and fee. The required documents are listed below:
- Class 10 and 12 marksheets
- Entrance exam scorecard
- ID proof
- Caste certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Passport-size photograph
- Transfer certificate

Those students who fulfil the eligibility criteria of the DYPIEMR Akurdi BE course can apply. The application process of the course is online. Students must have passed Class 12 from any recognised board with 45% marks in PCM to be eligible. Moreover, to get admission, students have to clear the entrance exam.
