Eligibility Criteria for B.A. B.Ed. /B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated
Sr. Secondary (10+2) PCM/PCB (For B.Sc B.Ed Integrated) or the art group (For B.A B.Ed Integrated) with a minimum of 50% marks for national students.
Students from other countries: For overseas applicants, the eligibility criterion for all programmes is a minimum of 50% on the qualifying test and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission to the desired degree.
Benefits of B.A. B.Ed. /B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated
The programme includes both a B.A. /B.Sc and a B.Ed. Curriculum. Both courses are combined to form a single course. As a result, students will not have to apply for B.Ed. on their own.
The integrated B.Ed programme is only available for four years. The included programme is a two-year programme. Graduates will get two degrees upon completion of the course: a bachelor's degree (chosen by the student) and a bachelor's degree in education (B.Ed.). Getting two degrees in four years is a fantastic arrangement.
It is preferable to pursue an integrated B.A. or B.Sc B.Ed. Rather than a B.A./B.Sc followed by a B.Ed. It will take four years to complete an integrated degree and five years to do both individually. Along with the benefit of saving a year, it will also help one save money because college fees increase each year, and if one enrols in B.Ed. after three years, the cost will be moderately higher than the cost of B.Ed. T his one year can be put to good use. It can be used to prepare for CTET, State-by-State TETs, and other relevant admission exams.

M.Ed. MBA, P.G. Diploma (Management) courses, P.G. Diploma (Teacher Training) courses, and M.A. are among the P.G. programmes available to B.A. B.Ed. Graduates. They may enrol in courses relating to teacher education or other disciplines.

No, in general, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in any field to be eligible to pursue a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree in India. The minimum educational qualification required to pursue a B.Ed. Degree is a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. B.Ed. Is a professional course that prepares candidates for teaching at the elementary, secondary, or senior secondary level. Therefore, it is essential to have a strong academic background to be able to pursue the course effectively. However, there may be some universities or institutions that offer B.Ed. Programs for candidates who do not have a bachelor's degree. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS (B.ED. PART-I)
The eligibility conditions for admission to B.Ed.(2-year) Course through Distance Mode will be as under: -
(i) Bachelor/Masters degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (47.5% in case
of SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) OR 55% in case of BE/B.Tech (52.25% in case of
SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) as per directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
(ii) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
(iii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face
mode.
(iv) The reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of Haryana Govt.
(v) Only in-service teachers working in any Recognized Government/Aided/Private School/Educational
Institution is eligible.
NOTE: (i) The Teaching Experience Certificate will be accepted only on the prescribed proforma given at Annexure-
XIII in the Prospectus. In case a candidate has served in more than one Institution (with/without break),
he/she should use the photocopy of this proforma for submitting the teaching experience certificates for each
institution of service.
(ii) The candidates seeking admission in B.Ed. 1st Year should ensure to submit proof of Teaching Experience
in a school/other educational institution duly certified by Headmaster/Principal on the prescribed format as
per Annexure-XIII.
(iii) There will be no rounding off the percentage of marks for determining the eligibility for admission to B.Ed.
course.
(iv) Admission dues to be paid only after confirmation of admission and on demand from the Directorate
after finalization of the merit list for admission to B.Ed. Part-1st.
(v) Candidates seeking admission for B.Ed. Part-1st should bring their Original Certificates at the time of
Admission/Counseling after the declaration of Merit list by the Directorate.
