The latest cutoff details for the B.Ed. program at Trinity Teacher's Training College are not publicly available. However, as per NCTE norms, the minimum eligibility requires a graduation degree with at least 50% marks, while candidates with qualifications like B.Tech. in Science/Mathematics need 55%. Admission is generally based on merit prepared from qualifying exam scores.

As of now, we have the list of BEd colleges in India that are offering 2-year BEd courses. On this link, you can find the TOP BEd colleges in India for a 2-year program. The official list for the best colleges providing 1-year BEd colleges will be determined after NCTE implements the course and releases its details in 2026.

NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education) will implement a 1-year BEd program in India from 2026 onwards. The list of colleges and universities that will offer this course hasn't been released yet. The program is said to be a regular degree and won't be available online as of now. Although IGNOU offers a distance 2-year BEd education program.

Since the 1-year BEd course in India isn't officially implemented yet, we can't say that this degree will be valid for government jobs also. As of now, the 2-year BEd program is accepted for the government teaching position. In some cases, the distance BEd degree from IGNOU is also accepted.

The candidate can also opt for ITEP or Integrated Teaching programs to be eligible for the government teaching jobs.

No official update has been released by NCTE. But a post-graduation degree and prior experience might be needed.

With B.Com, MBA, and B.Ed (Economics), you cannot directly become a TGT Maths teacher in most government schools.

But with additional Maths qualification + TET/CTET, it is possible.

Private schools and coaching centers are more flexi

ble.
