The total no. of seats offered by DSPMU for B.Ed. course is 100.Out of the total seats,3% seats are reserved for Physically Challenge applicants as per Central Government Policy and 85% Seats are reserved for those who have passed from this university and rest are for outside candidates.The University department of B.Ed. has around 14 teachers and is well known for its rich teaching process.

For Uttarakhand Open University B.Ed admissions, candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate either in a Bachelor's or master's degree in order to be eligible for the B.Ed course at Uttarakhand Open University.
