IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) is currently administered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) in Delhi, India, as of my knowledge around 7000 to 8000 students appeared every year. Each year, a different number of students may take the IPU CET B.Ed. entrance exam.
I advise looking at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's official website or getting in touch with their admissions office. They ought to be able to give you the pertinent data and information about the number of students taking the B.Ed. entrance exam.

UGC has allowed me to pursue 2 courses at the same time, but it is doifficult to pursue B.Ed and Ph.D at the same time as both require a lot of time and effort.
Although, one can pursue B.Ed and Ph.D from different universities for example B.Ed from IGNOU and Ph.D from another university.
