If you want to pursue your career into research than the regular study will be consider but if have good years of experience with your distance mode degree than you reach your goal in more time but you need to invest ur hard work and commitment for your subject and take experience in practical approach too.

Yes you can do it because most of the university do offer this course without any stream boundation. But you need to check the University wise Admission process for the further steps into admission.

Eligibility- 45% aggregate of four subjects PCME with 50% in Mathematics
No entrance exam is there. Admission is strictly on merit basis.
