Both IISER Berhampur and IISER Kolkata offer a 5-year BS-MS dual degree programme in Science and research. However, there are some differences between them, such as:

-Establishment: IISER Kolkata is one of the oldest IISERs, established in 2006, while IISER Berhampur is one of the newest, established in 2016.

-Campus: IISER Kolkata has a permanent campus of 250 acres in Nadia district, West Bengal, while IISER Berhampur has a temporary campus of 200 acres in Berhampur city, Odisha.

-Facilities: IISER Kolkata has well-equipped laboratories, libraries, hostels, and sports facilities, while IISER Berhampur is still developing its infrastructure and facilities.

-Ranking: IISER Kolkata is ranked 27th among the universities in India by NIRF 2023, while IISER Berhampur is not ranked yet.

-Seat Matrix: IISER Kolkata has 250 seats for the BS-MS program, while IISER Berhampur has 170 seats.

However, it is important to note that all IISERs have the same curriculum, faculty, and quality of education, and the choice of the institute depends on your personal preference and convenience.

Institute of technology and management Dehradun is highly recommended amongst students. According to the official website it is the first and best college in Uttarakhand state, providing pioneered IT education in Uttarakhand since 2002. There is no specific information provided on the seat intake in B.Sc programs, but we are here with some estimates. B.Sc. Computer Science (CS) programme has estimate seat intake of 65 to 85 students. B.Sc. Information Technology (IT) has approximately 75 to 85 seats whereas B.Sc. Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) has approximately 50 to 70 seats for students. BFIT group of institutions is said to emphasise on skill development and professional courses.  ITM Dehradun works academically well and offer various graduate and post graduate courses alongwith a fair amount of focus on research with various publications and collaborations. If we compare their fee structures, B.Sc. Computer Science (CS) is offered at approximately one Lacs rupees at ITM Dehradun whereas the other offer it at ?80,000.
