Typically, the following steps are included in the selection process for B.Sc courses:

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the different colleges, typically completeing the 10+2 level of schooling with a certain percentage in relevant disciplines.

• Entrance Exam: For B.Sc programmes, several colleges have their own entrance tests.
• Selection on merit: Many institutions accept students depending on their achievement in the qualifying exams (10+2). Merit lists are created, and candidates are chosen based on them.
• Counseling/Interview: Some universities may offer counselling sessions or interviews to determine whether an applicant is a good fit for the programme.

As for CUET, it's important to note that CUET is a relatively new entrance exam, and not all colleges accept its scores. Each college has its own admission process; some may not consider CUET scores for B.Sc admissions.

Both B.Sc and BDS programs at Baba Farid University seem to have decent placement prospects, albeit in different domains.

For B.Sc, the college maintains strong connections with reputed companies, facilitating smooth placements for students in their fourth year. Graduates secure positions in esteemed organizations such as Fortis Hospital, Max Hospital, Vedanta, and others. The highest offered salary package is 3.6 LPA, with a minimum package of 2.3 LPA.

On the other hand, BDS, being a dental program, exhibits excellent placement opportunities in the field of dentistry. Graduates often pursue foreign courses, engage in private practice, or opt for further studies such as master's programs. The internship, a mandatory part of the BDS course, is completed within the college.

Finally, the decision between B.Sc. and BDS depends upon your career goals.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) at KIMS with a 450 score in CUET depends on the cut-off which is determined through various factors such as the number of candidates applying for B.Sc, CUET exam difficulty, college reservation policy, etc. 

With your 450 score in CUET, it is difficult for you to get into KIMS considering the cutoff trends from the preceding year. In the 2022 admissions, the cutoff for B.Sc at KIMS stood at 502. 

It is advisable to try again next year and attempt the CUET exam and aim for a score of at least 525 if you are from the General category. You will get admission with a much lower CUET score if you are either from SC, ST or OBC categories.

B.Sc. Nursing, Anaesthesia Technology, B.Sc. Cardiac Care Technology, B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology, Neuroscience Technology, Perfusion Technology, B.Sc. Radiology, and B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology are among the Allied BSc courses that KLE University provides. For these courses, there are often between 10 and 100 seats available. There are ten seats available for each of the B.Sc. programmes in anaesthesia technology, radiology, and neuroscience technology.
