Instead of B.Sc MLT, you should go for B.Voc Degree in Medical Lab Technology. This degree programme follows the practical method more to provide knowledge to students. B.Voc is a work integrated degree programme where applicants get opportunity to earn while learning. In this programme theory classes happen at International Skills Academy (training hub partner) and practical training is conducted at best Hospitals, Pathology Labs etc. B.Voc degree in Medical Lab Technology is offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences - School of Vocational Education (TISS-SVE), a NAAC A+ government. Yes, you can pursue nursing course after the completion of your graduation. You can pursue general nursing and midwifery or B.Sc in nursing after graduation but for that, you have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by the university where you want to take admission. Admission to the general nursing and midwifery is given on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th, not on the basis of the entrance exam. But let me tell you that if you have completed your class 12th from Arts stream then you are not eligible for B.Sc in Nursing.

There are total 380 seats. So, your rank should not exceed 400. Students do not leave their seats in KGMU. But, even 500s can get in open round.
