The flagship courses of AFMC Pune are MBBS & BSc Nursing. The duration of the MBBS course is 4 ½ years followed by compulsory rotating internship training of one year. All medical cadets after completing final MBBS examination will undergo internship training in selected service hospitals recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). A total of 145 medical cadets,115 boys & 30 girls, to be admitted for the year 2026 in MBBS programme.

AMFC Pune Admission Process and Important Dates 2026
The mode of AMFC Pune course admission is online. Admission to AFMC, Pune is subject to norms prescribed by the Director General Armed Forces Medical Services, Ministry of Defence, and Government of India. The students need to register & fill the application form released by the college to take part in the admission process. Students wanting to take admission for MBBS course at AFMC Pune will have to qualify the NEET UG Examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The shortlisted students are called for screening which comprises of Test of English Language and Reasoning (ToELR), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination at AFMC, Pune. Students need to produce the original Admit card for NEET containing the NEET Roll number, original mark sheets of their qualifying examination and other documents at the time of admissions.
