Q:   Can I join AFMC without NEET?
A: 

Candidates who have successfully cleared the NEET-UG exam, are eligible to apply for the MBBS course at AFMC Pune. Aspirants then have to appear for the central counselling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Q:   How to get admission in AFMC for MBBS?
A: 

Armed Forces Medical College (AMFC) offers an MBBS lasting five and a half years, including a compulsory rotating internship of one year. AMFC MBBS admission is based on the applicants' NEET (UG) score. Based on the exam scores, applicants are called for a screening process, which comprises a Test of English Language and Reasoning (ToELR), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination at AFMC, Pune. The college grants admission to candidates based on their overall performance in the entrance exam and all the screening rounds, subject to fulfilment of the below-given eligibility criteria:

Q:   What is the selection criteria for BSc at AFMC Pune?

The selection will be based on the merit of the candidate at an All India level. A written objective type of examination will be conducted in February/ March every year, at certain selected centres (Published from time to time.) Students who pass the entrance exam will be called for an interview at selected centers in the month of April/May each year. Candidates must be declared medically fit. The fitness will be determined by a Medical Board of Military Medical Officers.

To apply for admission to the Bachelor of Medical Radiology Diagnosis and Imaging Technology (BMRIT) to AFMC Pune, candidates are required to complete the online application process by following the steps outlined below: -Register for NEET UG/NEET PG/AFMC online. -Provide all the necessary details in the application form. -Make the payment for the application fees. -Click the submit button to finalize the application. BMRIT is an undergraduate course with a duration of 3 years. The basic eligibility criteria for BMRIT is at least 50% aggregate in class 12th with physics, chemistry, and biology as mandatory subjects from a recognized board. At Armed Forces Medical College Pune, the admission process for the same courses involves the following: -Attaining a valid score in the AFMC Entrance Exam. -Participating in a Personal Interview (PI).
