The admission in IIIT Sonepat for B.Tech programs are based on JEE Main ranks and through JoSAA counselling. Because the IIIT Sonepat and NIT Kurukshetra courses are runs together at NIT campus, so the placement offers are common for both. If we go through NIT Kurukshetra statistic (2017-18), the 100% placement have been provided to eligible students with an average salary package of Rs 11.79. Further the course fee is about Rs. 82555 per year. On the other hands SRM University, Andhra Pradesh Amravati is a multi-stream research university with focus on diverse fields. From engineering to medicine and from liberal arts to management. The admission criteria of SRM-Guntur is 60% marks in PCM at 12th level and rank in SRMJEE. The annual fee of B.Tech programs is about Rs 250000/. Because this college starts its B.Tech programs in year-2017, hence the first batch will pass out in year 2021. Hence I will prefer IIIT-Sonepat.
