No, SNU Chennai BTech admissions are now closed. The admission process for BTech starts with the registration for SNUCEE, which is conducted in three phases. Candidates can submit their applications before passing the deadline.

The University has not disclosed the 2022 placement details for BTech. However, the NIRF report 2023 is released, which incorporates the combined placement data for UG (4-year) courses for both Chennai and Delhi NCR campuses. As per the report, out of 294 UG (4-year) graduates, 170 were placed during Shiv Nadar University placements 2022. The table below represents the complete data for SNU Chennai placements 2022:

Only a handful of companies hire BTech students who have studied in distance modes. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant and other service based companies prefer students who have full-time Engineering courses. However, other don't bother and prefer distance candidates too. These companies value skill-set more than the mode of your degree. Hope this helps!
